What is buzzing and humming food? (plus an idea to make those times when you need to get a quick meal or snack easier)
I am rehasing an old blog post here, one that I know many of you missed so thought to run this idea past you.
Do you prefer buzzing food or humming food?
What is this you may ask?
It is something my partner and I talked about years ago, it was his analogy. When I stopped eating dairy this year I really understood what we had been talking about.
Read below for the details on that. And with this post I also share a brilliant idea which will make your life easier in the kitchen. When you have a spare half hour or even twenty minutes make a sauce or dip, enough for two or three meals and then keep it in the fridge.
At times I will have three freshly made sauces and then when I only have time to make steamed veg and a grain for dinner or feel like a snack I always have something in the fridge. It adds variety to the food I make and most of the sauces ensure I get extra protein. I share with you two sauces in this post. Please share with us your favourite sauce in the comment section below.
Ok Buzzing and humming food what is it?
Buzzing food gives you a bit of a kick and a huge flavour sensation instantly and often leaves you feeling heavy afterwards. Some of these foods over flavoured foods, foods with refined sugar and preservatives as well as meat. Foods that seem to taste good that the mind wants, convincing the body that it wants it too. Where as humming foods are foods that your body knows are good for it, the foods your body really needs when you sit down and listen to it. It has been so long since I have eaten meat, processed foods or things with sugar in them that I understand in my mind the principle of buzzing foods and humming foods but it wasn’t until I gave up eggs and dairy that I wholeheartedly appreciated the real difference. With the absence of dairy and eggs the food I have been eating makes me feel like I am meditating with each mouthful, it tastes so good in a subtle way and fills my mouth and body with an overall sense of comfort and nourishment and deliciousness.
I get it, I get it, humming food makes me feel like I am putting the right kind of food in my body allowing my cells to sing.
