Hello Everyone,

It is with great excitement that I announce to you all the arrival of my blog.  I love to write and I love to share so I am anticipating that I will use the blog to share exciting and quick and easy recipes, bits of information and anything that inspires me, all to do with one of the things I love the most.  Food, Glorious food.

As I sit here typing this blog now it is 11 C outside and we have the fire on, so I feel sharing a wintery soup shall be one of the first recipes I share, and one of the vegetables I love so which is packed with vitamin C, great to get extra vit C in the cool months to boost the immune system.    Has anyone guessed it yet?  The vegetable is cauliflower.  I know cauliflower is a vegetable many tend to shy away from, either not liking it or it not liking their digestive system.  I suggest giving this soup a go and not to eat copious amounts, just one bowl  (I wonder who I am really giving this advice too- I never can stop at 1 of anything!!!!).  Cauliflower soup is subtle in flavour and incredibly delightful at the same time.  One of those lovely juxtapositions in life.

Anyway back to the introduction of this blog.   I hope you enjoy reading my blogs and that you pick up some useful and interesting bits and pieces along the way.  With immense love and gratitude
