Catering Terms and Conditions
Booking retreats, weddings and events
To secure the date for your retreat, wedding or celebration you will be required to pay a $2000 holding deposit. For smaller functions you are required to pay the full quoted price as a holding deposit.
If the retreat, wedding or celebration is cancelled 8 weeks prior to the scheduled date a refund minus $600 admin fee will be given. If a retreat is cancelled within 8 weeks of the scheduled date no refund of the holding deposit will be given. If the event is cancelled 48 hours prior to the date booked in then the costs of the food and staff will still need to be paid, as staff will already be booked in and food orders placed.
If the retreat, wedding or celebration’s date changes and Veet’s Cuisine is no longer available to cater the whole deposit will be kept. If the event is changed to another venue where the venue has their own caterer or another caterer is hired, the whole deposit will be retained.
Half of the money for the retreat or event is required twenty one days prior to the date of the retreat, wedding or celebration. The rest of the money is to be paid within 7 days after the retreat, wedding or celebration.
A rough estimate of numbers needs to be given at the time of booking. Final numbers need to be confirmed one week prior to the retreat, wedding or celebration. Any increase in numbers up until the day of the event can be catered for. However any decrease in number during those 7 days will still be invoiced for (as orders will have been placed with farmers and staff booked in).
